2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 2020 Porsche Cayenne 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC vs. 2020 Porsche Cayenne The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC is designed to endure rough terrain and harsh weather conditions. It has earned a name in the top third of our luxury compact SUV rankings. It offers a pleasing ride with a comfortable interior, high-end technology, and a user-friendly infotainment system, among other luxuries. The 2020 Porsche Cayenne is a blend of a high-power engine car with sports-car-like control. It also possesses an opulent, spacious interior. It offers a great range of engine choices and has witnessed several upgrades. What it lacks is the cargo space and some other safety ratings, for which reason we don’t give it an overall score. Design & Style The Porsche Cayenne is a five-seater with two rows. It also has an extra middle seat in the second row. Eight-way power adjustments is a plus. You get the option to 14-way or 18-way power-adjustable sports seat in the front. It offers an impressive range of interior customization options for its cabin including wood, carbon finer, metal, and suede accents. The GLC can accommodate five occupants in its two rows. Both rows have comfortable and supportive seats. It has good head- and legroom that you can ride without feeling squeezed. However, the rear-seats don’t have the same headroom as the front. Use of first-rate materials in GLC adds to its opulent interior. Its sturdy overall built shields the occupants from wind and road noise. Technology & Safety The Cayenne is equipped with the Porsche Communication Management infotainment system and comes with a sharp 12.3-inch touch screen. The touchscreen responds promptly and the graphics look crisp. It has two 7-inch screens for the instrumental panel. The system may look technologically advanced but it can also be distracting and therefore compromise safety. But it has other significant safety features like blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, night vision assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency brakes, and adaptive cruise control. It also has standard front and rear parking sensors. GLA model makes all the advanced infotainment features available even in its most basic model. Also, its system is extremely user-friendly and gives a premium feel. It comes with standard driver aids and they work pretty well. You can get the optional safety features as well. Performance All three main trim levels of the Cayenne have different engines. The standard Cayenne has a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that offers 335 horsepower with 332 pound-feet of torque. The gearbox is aided by a slick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission which makes the engine hustle the car with ease and zeal. The GLC succeeds to impress buyers even with its basic model that offers 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. If that doesn’t impress you, you may go with the AMG® GLC 63 trim which boasts of a turbocharged V8 engine offering 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. You can’t really go wrong with any of the GLC engines. The Bottom Line The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC is an ideal choice for a thrilling ride sensation. Its lush interior, comfortable seating and an extensive range of other luxury-features definitely make it a practical choice. It meets every safety standard and has sufficient cargo capacity. The Competition Difference: Our Story
Our Long Island story began way back in 1962 with our founder, Joseph C. Buzzetta. Joe, as he’s known by his friends and family, was a car nut, born and raised on Long Island. He worked in all aspects of the car business, starting as a kid washing and polishing cars, and later, at the age of eighteen, was already selling cars at one of the dealers located in his hometown of Huntington. After serving in the military abroad, Joe returned to New York and worked for a time in his family’s restaurant, the Bella Vista, then located in Centerport, New York. But automotive was always his first love, and he soon found a way to gather the resources to open an auto service shop with his good friend, Oscar Rubio, on Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset. As the years went by, Joe was able to procure other franchises, in addition to our Mercedes-Benz franchises, and moved his shop, now a dealership, up to Route 25. Over the years, Joe’s progeny, Joe Jr., Jim, and Nancy have all joined him in the business and the family was able to add additional brands to their family business. Deeply rooted in the Long Island community, the entire family resides locally to the stores and strongly believes in giving back and reinvesting in the community. Some of the organizations that are close to their hearts are the St. Charles Hospital, Alternatives for Children, Paws of War, Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, LI 2 Day Breast Cancer Walk, Ward Melville Heritage Organization, Celebrate St. James, Smithtown Children’s Foundation, and many others. The Buzzetta Family takes great pride in their community and they love building relationships with their fellow neighbors. We can guarantee, you’ll always be treated like family when you visit a Competition dealership. We believe in developing long-lasting relationships, the kind of relationships our business’s foundation is built on. We hope to meet you all soon! Competition Automotive Group Throughout The Decades

What Is A Mercedes-Benz A-Service & B-Service?
How many times have you been running errands in the Huntington/ Greenlawn area in your Benz, when an unknown message has appeared on your dashboard? Worry not, we are here to explain what a few of them mean! When your vehicle displays a “Service A Required” or a “Service B Required” message, contrary to popular belief, there is actually nothing wrong with your vehicle, you are actually just due for a maintenance service. Maintenance on your vehicle should be done every 10,000 miles, or yearly; whichever comes first. You may be wondering why you still have to get service done on your vehicle yearly, even if your mileage isn’t very high, and the answer is pretty simple actually! If you do not use your luxury vehicle often, your vehicle’s fluids are still sitting in your Benz, even if you are not! Changing those fluids are a vital part of your yearly maintenance process. Luckily for you, service in the Elwood/Commack area is quick and efficient for customers of Mercedes Benz of Huntington. Whether you are sure or not of which service you are due for, our Service Representatives are able to help you determine which services your vehicle may be in need of. To break it down, an A service is the first service done on your vehicle at 10,000 miles, or a year after you have received the vehicle. After that, an A service is done every other service following. An A Service is a bit less involved and includes: A synthetic oil & filter replacement Topping off of the fluids necessary in your vehicle Correction and inspection of your tires An inspection of your brakes This service takes approximately an hour, so you will be in and out in a breeze, and waiting will go by quick in our customer lounge filled with amenities for your comfort. In between A Services, are the B Services, which are also very important to your vehicle to keep it running as smoothly as you deserve! A B Service is done every 2 years or every 20,000 miles, also whichever comes first. The B Service is a bit more involved than an A service, since it is done with a longer time in between and at a higher mileage. The B Service Includes: A synthetic oil/ filter replacement Topping off of the fluids necessary in your vehicle Correction and inspection of your tires Replacement of your cabin/dust filter Replacement of your windshield wipers Complete brake fluid flush Inspection of your brakes, poly-v belt, and the underbody for damage To further fit the convenience of our customers, loaner vehicles and/or pick up and delivery services are available for this service given that the service takes roughly 2 hours and more.
