The awesome part about having a Vehicle Exchange Coordinator at our dealership is the convenience. Leasing through the Mercedes-Benz First-Class Finish program makes things simple, but we understand that our clients may still need some additional assistance. Luckily for them, James is here to help. We love making our customers’ lives easier and this is just one more way of us making that possible!

James goes through our Service Department roster, and checks on our customers that come in for appointments. If it looks like their lease is ending soon, James checks in, and lets them know! From there, he helps our customers get into their next New, or Pre-Owned Vehicle to fit their needs!

 



Commonly Asked Vehicle Lease-End Questions:

  • When is my lease end date?

A: Leases differ from person to person but the best way to find your lease end date would be to either contact James, or refer to your lease agreement!

  • How many miles am I allowed to put on the vehicle during the lease period?

A: Our leases vary from 10K, to 12K, 15K, or 18K miles per year. Please contact James or refer to your lease agreement for your specific mileage allowance.

  • What is the process for returning the vehicle at the end of the lease?

A: All you have to do is set up your lease end appointment with James Jack 1 month before your lease maturity date, and he will handle the rest!

  • Are there any fees for returning the vehicle late or with excessive wear and tear?

A: If returning at lease maturity, you are responsible for any past due payments, unpaid fees, excess mileage, excess wear and use, and fees and taxes associated with your end of lease.

If you return your vehicle early (prior to maturity), you will be responsible for the above charges as well as remaining payments.

  • Can I purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease?

A: Our clients are given the option to purchase their vehicle at the end of their lease term, as per their contracted residual value!

  • Are there any special requirements for returning the vehicle, such as cleaning or maintenance?

A: Before you return your vehicle, take a few minutes to do your own Three-Point Inspection using the criteria in your lease-end guide (sent to you 90 days before your maturity date). The leaseholder is responsible for staying up to date with vehicle maintenance and repairs throughout the duration of the lease. You should also contact your Mercedes-Benz dealer to schedule a Pre-Inspection to prepare for your lease-end inspection. For specific points, check out our Mercedes-Benz First Class Finish Page.

  • What if the vehicle is stolen or damaged before the end of the lease?

A: The leaseholder is responsible for but not limited to, excess mileage, excess wear and use, vehicle damage, etc. In most cases, the lease holder’s insurance would pay off the remaining payments/or the vehicle payoff.

  • Can I return the vehicle early and terminate the lease?

A: If you return your vehicle early (prior to maturity), you are responsible for any past due payments, unpaid fees, excess mileage, excess wear and use, as well as remaining payments, fees, and taxes associated with your end of lease.
