Additional Information Revealed for the Anticipated 2024 EQG From Mercedes-EQ!
In 2021, Mercedes-Benz released one of their most iconic (and largest) concept vehicles, the EQG from Mercedes-EQ. Fast forward to the future and get excited as this anticipated EV wagon is confirmed to be releasing by the middle of 2024. Prepare to be conquered by the 2024 EQG from Mercedes-EQ! Although more information gets revealed and engineering gets slightly altered as time passes and road tests are performed, Mercedes-Benz of Huntington only gets more anticipatory! As with every concept and prototype vehicle, these details, features and engineering may not end up on the final production vehicle.
The G-Class from Mercedes-Benz has officially begun preparing for the age of all-electric vehicles. This is an era that is quickly approaching as going completely electric by the end of the decade (where market conditions allow) is an emphasized milestone for Mercedes-Benz.
Spy shots confirmed various updates to the EQG from Mercedes-EQ. This eco-friendly green giant will have:
- 4 electric motors mounted on each wheel
- One transfer case per electric motor (4 transfer cases total)
- A single rear differential that is a part of the rigid axle (just like the gas-powered G-Class)
- A pair of Adaptive Dampers
- Redesigned Front and Rear Bumpers
- Revised Fender flares
- New Aero Wheels *Exclusive to the EQG*
- Ladder-frame chassis that houses the battery pack
As previously said, these details may or may not make the cut. More information is still awaiting confirmation, such as this big EV’s battery power and average range.
The EQG from Mercedes-EQ is expected to conquer all types of terrain either by the end of 2023, during the fourth quarter, or during the first quarter of 2024. Don’t let the zero-emission upgrade fool you, this giant doesn’t make compromises either.
