Mercedes-Benz GLS Models Receive Exciting New Updates!

Following in suit with the Mercedes-Benz GLE models, the GLS 450, Mercedes-AMG® GLS 63 4MATIC®+, and Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 have all joined the remodeled club with a fresh new look! As the general public has steadily been moving towards SUVs more and more, the remodeling of the GLS models have been anticipated by Mercedes-Benz lovers all over Long Island, New York.

Let’s start with one of the most noticeable changes made in our beloved Mercedes-Benz SUV, the exterior! The radiator grille has been made larger to be more prominent. The taillight has also been changed to a more modern looking three-block design. Additionally, two new paint tones, Sodalite Blue Metallic, and MANUFAKTUR Alpine Grey Non-Metallic, two new leather options, Catalina Beige, and Bahia Brown, and a new 20-inch wheel in Himalayas Grey, have been added to the range of choices for this vehicle. We are so excited to see all of these new features in person!

Now, you may be wondering how Mercedes-Benz could have possibly made the interior of their SUVs even better, to which the answer is simple! Updated technology of course! The interior of all of the GLS models have the new generation of the MBUX infotainment system. This includes a new look for displays, with modes such as Classic, Sporty, and Discreet. These modes change what components are displayed on the screens.

The mighty Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 has also received some new features for the luxurious interior. The standard ambient lighting now displays an animated projection of the Mercedes-Maybach pattern. Additionally, the center of the seat surfaces and backrests now feature a high-quality diamond-pattern quilting with specific perforations.

Both the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450, GLS 580, and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 have the latest steering wheel touch controls, activation of voice assistance without having to use the keyword “Hey-Mercedes”, and the optional MBUX Multi-Seat Entertainment System!

Now, don’t think they forgot about the Mercedes-AMG® models! The Mercedes-AMG® GLS 63 has also received exciting updates by redesigning exterior and interior aspects, as well as by adding to its standard equipment. The well-known Mercedes-Benz star on the front section of the vehicle has been replaced with the AMG® emblem, as well as the LED rear light signature has been changed.

Moving onto the interior, when this AMG® SUV’s doors are opened, the vehicle now plays an AMG®-specific light animation with a new logo projector. This interior also includes the aforementioned latest generation of MBUX, only with more AMG®-specific screen designs and functions. 

Standard equipment now includes the electric panoramic sliding sunroof, heated and climatized front seats, adaptive highbeam assist, and smartphone integration. Additionally, drivers will experience the thrilling AMG® Performance Exhaust System, the Burmester Surround Sound System, the Memory Package, Parking Pilot, AMG® Ride Control+,  and so much more!
