The impressive tech features of the GLE are driven by the MBUX system. Its built-in navigation and seamless smartphone integration work exceptionally well. They are both responsive and intuitive so new users will find almost no problem in exploring the infotainment system. The driver aids are also remarkable. There are standard safety features that are only available in expensive packages from other cars in its class.
The XT6 is also generous with its standard infotainment and safety features but they are not as sophisticated as that of the GLE.
Performance
The GLE displays superb road performance in any of its trim levels, thanks to its 255 hp engine with 273 lb-ft of torque. It can hustle through different road conditions with efficiency. The GLE 450 option will give up to 362 hp when it is paired with the 48-volt electrical system.
The XT6 has two trim levels but with only the same 3.6-liter V6 engine. The 310 hp gives off a nice snarl and its shift quality is quite excellent.
The Bottom Line
The new Cadillac XT6 may be a lot of things but it still cannot take down the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE. The GLE has proved yet again what an exceptional vehicle it is by having a reliable engine, superb tech features, and incredible styling.
